NY STATE BAR PRESIDENT FOCUSES ON AGING LAWYERS

In both her President's Message in the November/December New York State Bar Association Journal and her blog, Kathryn Grant Madigan, current President of the State Bar, wrote about the need for meaningful role models for aging in western culture, self-actualization, need for providing more opportunities for seasoned professionals to continue to contribute their wisdom and transit a legacy and tips for a healthy lifestyle.

The NY State Bar has taken a strong stand against mandatory retirement ages, which has had a ripple effect across the U.S. It is good to see that the Bar will continue to focus on the potential for continuing contributions and opportunities for professionals of all generations.
