REINVENTION WITH "LAST CHANCE HARVEY"

For the first time on this blog I am recommending a film. It is "Last Chance Harvey" starring two magnificent pros - Emma Thompson and Dustin Hoffman. Not only superbly acted, it is well written and a grown up film.. While there is a bit of "meeting cute," the real life issues the two face in their separate lives and in trying to establish a relationship are ones adults can well relate to. Ultimately, they manage to transform each other and reinvent themselves.

The film opened nationally on July 16th after an earlier New York opening where it got excellent reviews. See the trailer here.
